Taiwan’s role in global manufacturing

The Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo and International Hardware Expo Taiwan (TiTE x IHT 2025) will return on 21-23 October 2025, bringing Taiwan's Industrial strengths into the spotlight once again.

This year's edition will take place at the newly completed Taichung (Shui-Nan) International Convention & Exhibition Centre (TICEC) under the theme Team Taiwan. The event will highlight Taiwan's capabilities not only in hand tools, machinery components, automotive parts and fasteners, but also in precision manufacturing, smart production powered by Al, green innovation and global supply chain integration.

Jointly organised by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THMA) and Lanza International Co. Ltd, the expo will be divided into eight themed zones. These include Tools & Accessories, Metal Processing & Equipment, Plant Facilities & Industrial Safety, Automotive Repair & EV Applications, Fasteners & Fixings, Gardening, Agriculture & Outdoor Products, Construction & Home Improvement and Digital Smart Manufacturing.

According to the organisers, the layout is designed to reflect evolving global industry needs by connecting upstream and downstream suppliers with international buyers, creating a streamlined and efficient sourcing platform.

A key focus for 2025 will be on automotive repair tools and equipment, with an emphasis on products used in vehicle structures, chassis, engines, bodywork and electronic systems. Taiwan’s expertise in modular design and made-to-order manufacturing will be on show, with organisers hoping to reinforce the country's reputation among European and American carmakers and International service networks.

The upcoming edition is expected to host over 400 exhibitors across 800 booths and attract more than 20,000 professional buyers from over 70 countries, including the Americas. Europe. Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. In 2024, the event featured 300 exhibitors, with 285 hailing from Taiwan. Overseas participants came from eight countries including the US, Germany, France. Spain, Turkey, Japan, China and Vietnam.
