Atlas Copco Group appoints Håkan Andersson President of Industrial Technique business area

Atlas Copco Group has appointed Håkan Andersson as President of the Industrial Technique business area.

Currently President of the General Industry and Assembly Systems division within the same business area, Andersson will assume office on 1 June 2026 and succeed Henrik Elmin.

He is a respected and skilled leader,” said Vagner Rego, President and CEO of Atlas Copco Group. “He has a solid background in global management, including four years working in China. Over the years, he has built extensive experience working in partnership with our customers to develop innovative solutions.”

To ensure a smooth transition, and as previously communicated, Elmin will remain with the company until September 2026.

Andersson joined Atlas Copco Group in 2009. He has held a variety of managerial roles within the Industrial Technique business area, including General Manager for the customer centres in the Nordics and China, as well as President of the Service division.
