Lesjöfors appoints new CEO

Lesjöfors has appointed Oscar Fredell as CEO.

The appointment will enable Fredell to bring extensive experience from leading and developing industrial companies with decentralised business models. The company said Fredell boasts experience in strategy, acquisitions, and long-term value creation, which are areas central to the Beijer Alma group’s ambition to build a leading group of independent, entrepreneurial industrial companies.

Lesjöfors is a subsidiary of the Beijer Alma Group. Fredell was recently also appointed by the group as CEO. He will take up both positions starting from 3 November.

“Lesjöfors is a well-run company with a strong position in its markets and skilled management teams across its operations. I look forward to working closely with them to continue developing the business and advancing Beijer Alma’s long-term goals of profitable growth and high capital efficiency,” said Fredell.

In June 2025, the Beijer Alma Group announced measures to streamline its business, such as closing a factory and laying off 70 employees, including CEO Ola Tengroth. After Tengroth's departure, acting President and CEO of Beijer Alma, Johnny Alvarsson, assumed the role of acting CEO of Lesjöfors.
