Keller & Kalmbach takes over IEW

Backdated to 1 January 2023, Keller & Kalmbach group has acquired 100% of shares of IEW (Industrial Equipment Westendorff).

IEW, located in Erkrath, has specialised on drawing parts for the industry. As reliable partner for domestic and foreign industry companies, IEW delivers fasteners according to individual orders. Its owner Mr. Ewald Spleiter sold IEW for reasons of age. 

Keller & Kalmbach plans to successively integrate the company into its own group. With this take-over, Keller & Kalmbach said it is emphasising the importance of focussing on industry and drawing parts in the future in combination with the wide range of fastener and fixing technologies as well as industry and C-parts and C-parts logistic systems which are reliable and award-winning for many decades.

Dr. Seidl, Chairman of the supervisory board of Keller & Kalmbach GmbH, said: "IEW perfectly fits in our business model. We are sure that we can offer the previous service as well as our multiple award-winning logistic models and engineering consulting to IEW’s customers. And with this we can successfully continue and extend the business relationships.“

With its head office in Unterschleissheim near Munich, Keller & Kalmbach is known as a leading specialist for fastener and fixing technologies and in C-parts-management. Last year, the group entered into a joint venture with Delhi, India-based Mohindra Fasteners. Family-owned, Keller & Kalmbach has 1,000 employees and generates a group turnover of more than € 400 million.

As reliable partner for domestic and foreign industry companies, the company delivers fasteners according to individual orders. Pressed or turned, sintered or cut. The drawing parts can be produced according to usage in different manufacturing processes, raw materials, amounts and tolerances.
