fischer India recognised as a ‘Great Place To Work’

The fischer Group of Companies’ subsidiary in India has been certified as a ‘Great Place To Work’ for the third time in a row. The globally renowned award for an outstanding workplace culture is based on anonymous feedback from the employees of fischer India in accordance with the global ‘Great Place to Work’ standard. The prestigious award is valid for a whole year, in the case of fischer India, from May 2025 until May 2026.

Reflecting on this achievement, Mayank Kalra, Managing Director of fischer India, says: “We are proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work for the third consecutive year, a testament to the exceptional culture we have built, grounded in trust, collaboration, and a people-first mindset. Our commitment to employee growth is reflected in initiatives like the Talent Assessment Centre (TAC), Talent Development Centre (TDC), Product Competence Training, and the Leadership Development Program under the umbrella of the fischer India Academy. These programs foster a culture of recognition, transparency, and continuous learning.”

According to Mayank Kalra, the award highlights “the strong culture we have created, perfectly aligning with both our leadership development focus and the global vision of fischer to empower and develop our people across all regions. As our owner, Prof Klaus Fischer, says, ‘Our greatest assets are not our facilities and buildings, but our employees.’ This belief drives our dedication to training and development, so essential to our long-term success.”

Mayank Kalra gives thanks to every team member of fischer India and the executive board of the fischer Group of Companies, adding: “Together, we are not just building a business, we are building a great place to work.”

The family business achieved solid growth in India in 2024 and currently employs around 160 people in India. fischer India is based in Bengaluru, India’s technological powerhouse. fischer has also started setting up an IT hub recently, with the aim of attracting skilled staff such as software developers and AI specialists.
