fischer expands production in Asia with new sites in India and China

The fischer Group of Companies is expanding its production capacity in Asia, with new production sites in India and the expansion of an existing manufacturing plant in China.

The Indian site, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, focuses on fischer installation systems. Meanwhile, in China, at the existing production site in Taicang, Jiangsu province, a new production line for items from the heavy-duty fixings range and the structural retrofitting product range went into operation at the beginning of this month. Deliveries to the Chinese market will begin in May, and deliveries to the rest of Asia will start in November. The original production facility was opened in 1997.

“The large-scale expansion of our production in Asia is an important step towards further strengthening our competitiveness and customer proximity,” said Klaus Fischer, owner of the fischer Group of Companies. “Local production sites are becoming increasingly important, particularly in the current global political climate.”

Aside from these two production sites, fischer is also focusing on growth in Saudi Arabia, having recently opened its 51st subsidiary in the Middle Eastern country. A large new production site is currently being developed in Dammam, with its opening planned for early May. However, the official inauguration has been postponed until autumn due to the current situation in the region.

“Asia plays a central role for our company – and with the new and expanded production sites, we are laying the foundations for sustainable growth and innovative solutions directly on site,” said Alexander Bässler, Chief Executive Officer.

The company has also been producing fasteners in Tây Ninh, Vietnam, since 2022.
