FTI to host Fastener Training Week in Chicago this August

Fastener Training Institute (FTI) will host the next Fastener Training Week in Chicago from 31 August to 4 September.

The programme will include off-site plant tours, case studies, hands-on demonstrations using gauges and calipers, learning labs, and in-depth sessions covering quality assurance, sampling plans, fastener failures, print reading, thread technology standards and more. Industry experts will lead the training, including Laurence Claus and Salim Brahimi from the Industrial Fasteners Institute.

Students will also have dedicated time to explore the tabletop exhibition and network with other fastener professionals. Upon completing the course and passing the final exam, participants will earn the Certified Fastener Specialist™ designation.

“The need for skilled professionals in the fastener industry spans the world,” said Jo Morris, Managing Director of the Fastener Training Institute. “With Chicago serving as a major travel hub, this session is especially convenient for those travelling from overseas.”

FTI also held a Fastener Training Week at the Charlotte Convention Center from 4 to 8 May.
