Torque Magazine and website recruits Liberty Sheldon as Staff Writer

University graduate Liberty Sheldon has joined the Torque Magazine and website team as Staff Writer.

Originally from Guernsey, Sheldon is a recent graduate from the University of Winchester where she studied Media, Communications and Journalism.

Torque Editor Jonathon Harker said: "We're proud to welcome Liberty to the Torque team. Like Hayley before her, Liberty joins us as a University graduate with work experience that impressed; most notably an impromptu cornering of politician Nigel Farage in a segment delivered as part of her work experience with ITV Channel Islands. Liberty's freshly honed skills will combine with the experienced Torque team to help us deliver an ever more useful and essential magazine, website and newsletter for the fastener, tool and related distribution industries."

Sheldon replaces staff writer Hayley Everett, who has been with Torque for the past two years, but is now moving to London to pursue a career with a title specialising in 3D Printing.

Sheldon said: "I've really enjoyed learning about the industry so far and also getting my first stories published on Torque. I can't wait to travel to new places as a reporter and growing my knowledge of this exciting market."
