ForgeFix has formed a partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, launching a campaign with multiple initiatives to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
The Screw Prostate Cancer campaign aims to get 100,000 men to take the Prostate Cancer UK online risk checker and to raise £100,000 for the charity throughout the year. To reach this target, ForgeFix will use Spectre as the public-facing brand, launching a bespoke promotional product range to help raise funds.
For example, the bespoke Screw Prostate Cancer Spectre screw case, featuring a selection of the brand’s well-known multi-purpose screws, will include a unique Prostate Cancer UK QR code that end-users can scan to complete the charity’s risk checker via an online portal.
Every time merchants purchase a Screw Prostate Cancer case, ForgeFix will contribute towards its £100,000 goal. In this way, buyers can support the campaign simply by stocking the Spectre range.
Meanwhile, two members of the ForgeFix team will take on four marathons in Belfast, Edinburgh, London and Newport wearing bespoke Screw Prostate Cancer suits designed in the shape and style of a screw. They will aim to complete at least one of these events in a world record-breaking time for a participant dressed as a tool.
Paul Swift, Managing Director of ForgeFix, said that as 89% of the construction sector is made up of men, the company is using this campaign to engage the industry, raise funds and boost awareness around this critical health issue.
“We thank ForgeFix for teaming up with us and look forward to working with them. This partnership will make a huge difference to men affected by this disease – and their loved ones too,” said James Steven, Head of Partnerships at Prostate Cancer UK.
