ForgeFix named BMF Centre of Excellence for Sheffield facility

ForgeFix, a UK distributor of fixings, fasteners and associated products, has been named a Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Centre of Excellence for its new facility.

The BMF Centre of Excellence title recognises facilities that set the highest standards for professional training, knowledge sharing and customer engagement.

Located at Bessemer Park in Sheffield, ForgeFix’s facility hosts and delivers dedicated programmes designed to strengthen skills across the industry, showcase product innovation and foster closer links with merchant partners and stakeholders throughout the supply chain.

“Our Bessemer Park facility being named a BMF Centre of Excellence underlines ForgeFix’s commitment to investing in the future of our business and our industry,” said Paul Swift, Managing Director of Galleon Fixings. “This new site gives us the scale, infrastructure and resources to deliver on our growth plans while leading standards across the sector. Bessemer Park represents a strong platform for the next phase of our journey, and we are excited about the opportunities it creates for ForgeFix and the wider Galleon Fixings Group.”

John Newcomb, CEO of the Builders Merchants Federation, added: “We are delighted to recognise ForgeFix’s new facility at Bessemer Park as a BMF Centre of Excellence. The site demonstrates exactly what we look for, combining modern facilities with a clear focus on skills development, innovation and collaboration.”

ForgeFix relocated to Bessemer Park earlier this year. The company said the move supports its strategic development, providing a modern, purpose-built site to help realise its long-term growth ambitions.
