Vossloh secures €20 million rail fastener contract in China

German rail technology specialist Vossloh has secured a €20 million contract in China.

The company’s subsidiary, Vossloh Fastening Systems China Co. Ltd, was awarded a contract to supply rail fastening systems for a high-speed line between the cities of Yulin and Cenxi.

The rail fastening systems will be delivered later this year.

“The signing of the contract confirms our technological expertise and the high quality of our products, which meet the most demanding standards of modern rail infrastructure projects,” said Oliver Schuster, CEO of Vossloh AG.

“We are all the more pleased to receive another order from our Chinese customers—a sign of trust that also makes an important contribution to achieving our ambitious goals for the current year,” he added.

Aside from this contract, Vossloh won other contracts to deliver rail fasteners and switch components in Algeria as part of the country’s rail network expansion programme.
