Tibbetts invests in new locations following SFF acquisition

Security Fasteners and Fixings (SFF) is joining fellow Tibbetts-owned brand BFC at a new purpose-built site near Stokenchurch, Bucks, close to the M40.

Last September, Tibbetts Group acquired SFF and Electra, which has been trading for over 30 years and supplying hexagon pillars and spacers as well as standard fasteners and fixings to the electronics and industrial manufacturing sectors. Electra acquired SFF and its line of licensed security fasteners 12 years previously.

Now SFF stock and staff have been moved across to a new depot near Stokenchurch alongside the BFC business (as reported in Perimeter Systems).

BFC – part of the Tibbetts Group – is a specialist UK supplier of fastener components to the global automotive, aerospace and industrial markets for over 40 years. BFC accounts for £6m of the groups £42m turnover.

Meanwhile, Tibbetts has recently moved to its new 70,000 sq ft headquarters in Banbury (pictured). The move consolidates facilities that were based in and around Banbury into a single office and warehousing complex. The new address for Tibbetts HQ is: Tibbetts House, Beaumont Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16 1RH.
