Troy Means Business to be rescheduled due to coronavirus concerns

Trade show Troy Means Business (TMB) has been postponed due to uncertainty surrounding coronavirus.

The popular TMB show, primarily for members and suppliers of Troy, was due to take place this week at Silverstone, Northants.

The event will be rescheduled to later in the year, with details to follow.

TMB joins a growing list of events covering the fastener, tool and related sectors that have been delayed in the UK and worldwide, including the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Taiwan International Fastener Show, wire and most recently, the Toolbank Spring Trade Shows.

Here's the statement from the TMB organisers:

"Due to the uncertainty surrounding the current health situation in the UK and around the world we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the TMB event until later in the year.

In these uncertain times we want to support members and suppliers first and foremost in ensuring the health and well being of their staff, as well as allowing them to focus on taking care of their businesses.

The safety of attendees and employees always comes first and we are exploring options to reschedule TMB for later in the year, to ensure a well attended event.

We apologise for any inconvenience and hope that you understand our position."
