The pgb-Holding group has acquired Dutch fastener distributor GebuVolco.
The acquisition will enable pgb-Holding to offer an expanded product range and tailor-made solutions. GebuVolco will continue to operate as an independent entity, retaining its name, organisation and points of contact.
The company added that the acquisition fits perfectly within pgb-Holding’s growth strategy to strengthen its position in the European market and create sustainable value for its customers, employees and partners.
In addition to distributing fasteners under strong brands such as Silvermate and QZ, GebuVolco is also a manufacturer in the hardware sector, producing clamps and brackets. Under the leadership of Mr Dirk De Pijper and his management team for more than 30 years, the company holds a leading position in the private label market in the Netherlands.
Gebu began producing a wide range of fixing products in 1947. Following the purchase of Volco International in 2000, the company’s fastener portfolio expanded further. GebuVolco was formed in 2010 through the merger of Gebu and Volco.
