Henkel Group has reported a decline in sales for Q3 2025, with both its Adhesive Technologies and Consumer Brands segments posting lower figures.

The company’s sales in Q3 2025 amounted to €5,147 million, down from €5,492 million — a 6.3% year-over-year decrease. Sales in the Adhesive Technologies segment fell from €2,800 million in Q3 2024 to €2,708 million in Q3 2025, representing a 3.3% decline.

Organic sales, which are adjusted for foreign exchange effects as well as acquisitions or divestments, in Adhesive Technologies increased by 2.5%. The growth was driven by positive price and volume development. Foreign exchange effects reduced sales by 4.9%, while acquisitions and divestments also had a negative impact of 0.9%.

In the first nine months of 2025, the Adhesive Technologies business unit posted a nominal sales decline of 1.8% to €8,124 million, while achieving organic growth of 1.6%.

In the Consumer Brands business unit, sales in Q3 totalled €2,402 million, representing a nominal decrease of 9.5% year-on-year. Organically, the business achieved a slight increase of 0.4%, driven by positive volume development, although price performance was slightly negative. Foreign exchange effects reduced sales by 4.8%, while acquisitions and divestments — particularly the divestment of the retailer brands business in North America — negatively impacted sales by 5%.

“The good earnings development continued in Q3, while we consistently pursued investments in our businesses and brands. At the same time, we are continuing to make very good progress in integrating our Consumer Brands business and, as announced, will successfully complete the process by year-end,” said Carsten Knobel, CEO of Henkel.

Looking ahead, Henkel expects organic sales growth of 1% to 2% for the fiscal year. For the Adhesive Technologies business unit, organic growth in the range of 2% to 3% is anticipated, while Consumer Brands is expected to see an organic sales increase of 0.5% to 1.5%. Acquisitions and divestments are projected to have a negative effect in the low single-digit percentage range on nominal sales growth for fiscal 2025.
