DIY Boulevard to reach record exhibitor levels at EISENWARENMESSE 2026

The DIY Boulevard at EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair 2026 is set for record exhibitor participation, with almost all spaces already taken.

Held in Hall 11, the DIY Boulevard will offer a distinctive format where exhibitors present products on retail-style shelves, giving visitors a realistic impression of how items appear in stores. The layout provides a clear overview of the market, new product ideas and trends, and highlights the latest innovations in the DIY sector.

Conversation areas at each display and the central stand of the Haus & Garten e.V. (HHG) manufacturer association will create a hub for meetings, networking and business discussions.

First launched in 2016 with 45 participants, the DIY Boulevard is open to HHG member companies. In 2026, it will also welcome members from the HIMA network, representing associations from Belgium, France, the UK, Italy and Spain, bringing a stronger international presence.

“We can once again look forward to a completely booked Boulevard in 2026,” said Dr Marie-Charlotte Claßen, Deputy Managing Director of HHG. “The strong demand shows the continued success of this concept – a compact but diverse presentation of our industry, from innovative product ideas to realistic shelf displays.”

The 2026 EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair will take place from 3 to 6 March 2026 and occupy six halls at the Cologne exhibition centre, covering tools, building and DIY supplies, fasteners and fixings and industrial equipment.

“The DIY Boulevard has become one of the key attractions of the fair,” said Sebastian Hein, Director of EISENWARENMESSE. “It allows visitors to experience products as they would appear at retail and creates real value for both exhibitors and attendees.”
