Turkish manufacturer Çetin Cıvata has officially become a MAThread® licensed manufacturer as of 1 December 2025.
The licence enables Çetin Cıvata to expand its product portfolio with fasteners incorporating MAThread solutions, designed to improve assembly performance while significantly reducing the risk of cross-threading and installation errors. The move underlines the company’s continued investment in advanced engineering and globally recognised fastening technologies.
MAThread® technology is widely adopted by leading OEMs, including General Motors, Tesla, Ford, Volkswagen, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Scania. Globally, more than 100 billion components featuring MAThread® solutions are currently in production.
By becoming a licensed manufacturer, Çetin Cıvata gains access to MAThread®’s global engineering expertise and technical support. This allows the company to deliver fastening solutions that offer higher reliability, improved efficiency and consistent quality, supporting customers in optimising their assembly processes across a wide range of industrial sectors.
The MAThread® licence complements Çetin Cıvata’s broader strategy of integrating globally recognised, licensed technologies into its production. Alongside MAThread®, the company also incorporates licensed surface treatment solutions, including zinc lamellar coatings from NOF Metal Coatings Europe under the Geomet® brand, Dörken MKS with Delta Protekt®, and the Magni 500 Series from Magni, all designed to deliver high levels of corrosion protection and durability.
