Two companies have worked together on a “Drill, Drive, Fix” installation collaboration, aimed at professional electricians.
British drilling and driving expert Armeg collaborated with German fixing manufacturer fischer to launch a fully-loaded masonry solution, the ARMEG x FISCHER FIXTAINER PRO SET.
The set combines fischer’s DuoPower wall plugs in 6, 8 and 10mm sizes with corresponding Armeg Twister Impact Masonry Drill Bits, designed specifically for use in ever popular impact drivers.
Engineered and manufactured in Sheffield, the Twister Impact Masonry Drill Bits feature Armeg’s SQS Super Quick Spiral® flute technology, developed for rapid spoil removal to maximise drilling efficiency when used at the high rotational speeds generated by impact drivers.
Crucially each drill bit also incorporates a depth-stop matched to fischer DuoPower plug sizes, helping installers achieve consistent drilling depth and reducing the risk of under or over drilling.
fischer do screws as well of course: The FIXTAINER PRO SET also includes generous quantities of their countersunk and hex head safety screws, together with a selection of Armeg’s impact-rated driving accessories including Magnetic Collar Screwdriver Bits in PZ2 and T40 Torx, plus a 13mm Twister Magnetic Nut Driver.
To support onsite usability, the kit includes two Armeg Belt Loop Bit Holders, allowing commonly used drilling and driving accessories to be kept close to hand while working.
All components are supplied in fischer’s modular FIXTAINER case system for organised storage and to help users know when it’s time to restock bits and fixings
