Bufab has once again been awarded the top score of A in the Supplier Engagement Assessment conducted by CDP.
The company stated that the achievement demonstrates its commitment to responsible sourcing, climate action and close collaboration across its global supply chain. The recognition highlights Bufab’s continued efforts to engage suppliers on climate-related issues and drive improvements throughout the value chain.
“We are proud to serve our customers with a world-class supplier base. Achieving an A in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment once again is a strong validation of our long-term work to build a more sustainable, resilient and transparent supply chain together with our suppliers,” said Carina Lööf, Group Director Sustainability & Sourcing at Bufab.
CDP is a global non-profit environmental organisation. Its annual Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates how companies work with suppliers on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions and supply chain collaboration. An A score represents the highest level of performance in the assessment.
Bufab added that sustainability is an integral part of creating long-term customer value. “Through structured supplier engagement and a clear sustainability agenda, the Group continues to strengthen its ability to support customers with reliable sourcing solutions while contributing to reduced climate impact across the supply chain,” the company added.
