Gesipa launched an Open Day in April, offering multiple programmes with demonstrations, as visitors gained insights into blind rivet technology as well as the company’s latest developments and solutions.
In the Demonstration & Training Centre, visitors learned about applications and technologies, asked questions about specific usage scenarios and experienced the products first-hand. Among the highlights were the GAV Neo automatic riveting machine and the new FireBirdie blind rivet nut setting tool, both demonstrated on site and available for visitors to test.
In addition, two presentation sessions provided the opportunity to explore current topics and applications in greater depth. These included insights into the FireBirdie blind rivet nut setting tool, various Gesipa joining solutions and applications in automation, such as the programming of industrial robots in collaboration with Yaskawa. The GAV Neo automatic riveting machine and the Sarissa positioning system were also presented in more detail during these sessions.
The Gesipa demo van was also on site, offering further insights into mobile fastening technology solutions. Baier & Michels GmbH & Co. KG, a long-standing partner, was also present with its own stand, showcasing the b&m-KL PLUG — a sealing and fastening element for holes and ducts that can be easily installed using GESIPA blind rivet nut tools and a b&m attachment.
