Lesjöfors AB, the parent company of the commonly named Lesjöfors Group, has announced that it will change its name to Beijer Components AB.
The company said the name change establishes a broader business platform within Beijer Alma. It reflects the group’s growth and diversification, unites a global portfolio of specialised component companies and positions the business alongside Beijer Tech as one of Beijer Alma’s two subsidiaries.
Following the change, Lesjöfors will remain a strong and independent brand within Beijer Components. The name change applies solely to the parent company and does not affect Lesjöfors’ market position, brand identity or day-to-day operations.
“This evolution reflects both continuity and ambition,” said Johnny Alvarsson, Acting President and CEO of Beijer Components and Beijer Alma. “Beijer Components builds on the heritage and strong foundation of Lesjöfors, while enabling Beijer Alma to focus on growth through acquisitions in new component sectors.”
