The British & Irish Association of Fastener Distributors (BIAFD) has added GTSE UK as a general member.
GTSE specialises in trade supplies, cable ties, tape, tools and fixings, delivering more than 20,000 products to the UK, EU and US markets. The company currently operates warehousing facilities across the UK, EU and US, while its dedicated team at the UK head office processes more than 3,000 orders a day.
Recently, BIAFD announced a management reshuffle following the retirement of its Chairman, Ian Doherty, who also stepped down from Owlett-Jaton in March 2025.
Doherty confirmed his resignation and retirement from the BIAFD Management Committee at the autumn meeting. Succeeding him as Chairman is Gary Henderson, Managing Director of Grampian Fasteners and previously the association’s Vice Chairman.
