Galleon Fixings strengthens leadership team with senior appointments

Dormole Group’s fixings division, Galleon Fixings, has made a series of senior appointments, bringing three members of ForgeFix’s management team into key roles at Galleon Fixings.

Paul Swift (pictured left), currently Managing Director of ForgeFix—also part of the Dormole Group—has been appointed Managing Director of Galleon Fixings. In his new role, Swift will oversee the company’s relocation to new facilities at Bessemer Park, Sheffield. He is also tasked with driving the continued growth of the fixings and fasteners division through first-class service, customer support, best-in-class marketing initiatives and ongoing product development.

Swift will continue to serve as Managing Director of ForgeFix alongside his new responsibilities.

“Being part of the wider Dormole Group puts us in a privileged position, and we are keen to leverage this to ensure the fixings and fasteners division continues to deliver growth, while also engaging with customers and creating exciting opportunities for our people,” said Swift.

In addition, Paul Simpson (pictured middle), Head of Sales at ForgeFix, has been appointed Sales Director, while Rebecca Fortescue-Halliwell (pictured right), Head of Marketing and Digital Strategy, joins as Marketing Director.

All three new appointees will join the newly formed Board of Galleon Fixings, alongside existing Board Directors Mark Revak, Mark Dorrington, Tony Armitt and Claire Mulvey.

These appointments follow the retirement of outgoing Galleon Fixings CEO Michael Brown.

Wayne Flory, Chief Executive Officer of the Dormole Group, commented: “Paul’s expertise and leadership have been transformative for ForgeFix and, more broadly, for our entire fixings and fasteners division. This promotion is an exciting next step as we look ahead to continued growth and the execution of the exciting initiatives we have planned.”
