The next edition of Torque Magazine is going to be a game-changer, going out to an increased readership globally - complete with translated versions for key markets and digital enhancements for readers. Here we take you through the exciting changes...
This September, Torque Magazine is going international. We’re going to produce more Torque Magazines a year and we’ll be launching a new swanky digital issue that will make the most of the format. We’ll even have translated versions available for key markets.
Why now? It’s no secret that the way we all consume news and media is changing. The online world has offered up a multitude of opportunities and advantages, with digital adding a wealth of value to traditional printed magazines. We’re aiming to make the most of digital and print combined, appealing to all readers whether they prefer print, digital or both. Here we lift the lid on our plans for the magazine...
MORE MAGAZINE ISSUES
From September we’ll be publishing Torque Magazine 10 times a year. In addition to the current five issues published annually and sent out to UK subscribers, we’ll be producing an additional five issues that will purely be available digitally – both online and through our app. Significant additional print copies of the magazine will be sent out to international readers too.
The solely digital issues will capitalise on the opportunities and advantages of digital media, with significant enhancements. Those digital issues will include new and enhanced interactive features and technology to engage with readers. Pages will be easily shared through social media channels, further spreading the reach of the magazine. The digital issue will also include capacity for videos, live news feeds and more clever stuff that will add to the Torque Magazine experience and provide added value for readers.
The digital issues will, alongside the print issues, be available through our app, working with all iOS and Android phones, making it even easier to read Torque Magazine on the move – ideal for those in the industry that spend more time on the road than in the office.
Of course those extra editions mean more news, more features, more factory visits, more industry opinions, more show coverage and in-depth features will be available from Torque Magazine.
MORE INTERNATIONAL FOCUS
Not only will we be covering the UK market as we’ve always done, but Torque Magazine will use all those extra issues to increase the amount of editorial dedicated to the global distribution market. There will be a corresponding significant increase in global circulation, reaching industry decision makers throughout the international markets.
While this international focus does not mean the Torque team will be working out of swanky offices in Rome or Monaco (unless the boss has been keeping that quiet), you will find us clocking up plenty of air miles and getting out to more key global shows – including the forthcoming Las Vegas-set National Industrial Fastener and Mill Supply Expo and Milan’s Fastener Fair Italy – and visiting important companies and factories around the world.
In another bold move, Torque Magazine’s digital issue will be translated into German and Italian, servicing those two key European markets directly.
Linked in with this international strategy is our forthcoming Torque-Expo Singapore 2017, taking place at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre in September, next year. The essential diary date will bring together global exhibitors from leading manufacturers and wholesalers selling products through distribution to the trade for the two-day event.
MORE READERS
With our international expansion we will see an increase in our circulation, starting right from September. Our crack team of data checkers, who have been in place ever since we got started on Torque, have been extra busy ensuring that we’ll be reaching key industry names throughout the globe from our September issue onwards. Naturally that will increase over the months and we don’t need to tell you that the sky is the limit with international circulation – the new digital issues, in all their enhanced interactive glory, will be available to anyone with an internet connection.
That’s enough about us for now – if you have any questions or want to take advantage of the many opportunities that we’ve described above then please get in touch at 01727 739160 or email info@torque-expo.com
