Lederer receives TOP 100 innovation competition award

Lederer has announced that it has been congratulated on its success in the TOP 100 Innovation competition with a personal video by science journalist, Ranga Yogeshwar. Yogeshwar also honoured the achievements of this year’s TOP 100 companies at a joint online conference.

Volker Lederer, Managing Director, said: “The award means a lot to us, because we are proud to be one of the companies that are considered particularly innovative in Germany”.

Ranga Yogeshwar is accompanying the innovation competition, which is being held for the 28th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, Lederer was particularly impressive in the size category B (51 to 200 employees in Germany) in the category "Innovation-promoting top management".

Lederer has more than 40,000 products in stock and serves over 6,000 customers. "In the course of digitisation, we are now successfully using a new ERP system and resorting to RFID and cloud solutions," Lederer added. Furthermore, customers can find answers to important delivery questions using the company's new automated shipping display including a tracking link to the delivery company.

Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal of approval for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. From 2002 on, the scientific management has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. Franke is the founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
