Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2019 preview: Berardi, Coventya, Eurotec, HEICO & Lueg

This March, Messe Stuttgart will play host to the eighth Fastener Fair Stuttgart. If you’re planning a trip, here’s (the 3rd part) of our guide to some of the must-see stands and products at this year’s show…

Berardi Fasteners
Hall 3, Stand 2308

After 100 years since its birth as an artisan’s shop in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, Berardi Fasteners keeps expanding its assortment and services. An Italian leader in C-parts management, Berardi stands out for its continuous technological upgrading, and its ever more accurate quality control systems.

With a recently acquired family member, Brescia-based VIBF Fasteners, the Berardi Group looks ahead into the future of C-parts management, with integrated systems like KanBan and the innovative KanBan Up. The smartphone application allows its partners to send orders quickly and easily, and check their stocks of vital components on a specifically designed platform. To help partners cut costs for their personnel’s equipment, Berardi has developed EasySelf24,
an automatic distribution system for personal protective equipment and small tools. As the digital revolution cuts the distances between continents, Berardi is growing steadily in its export markets. To boost this expansion, the company has opened a new sales office in Croatia, and founded its first international branch in Morocco (www.berardimaroc.com).

Coventya
Hall 1, Stand 704

COVENTYA and microGLEIT have joined forces in the dry film lubrication of fasteners.

New assembly techniques and lightweight materials in the automotive industry raise the bar for friction requirements of fasteners. With second-to-none corrosion protection systems from COVENTYA, the high-end range of specialty lubricants for fasteners from microGLEIT is a perfect fit. The microGLEIT portfolio for fasteners includes not only dip-spin lubricants for coated steel fasteners like Zinc, Zinc-Nickel, Zinc-flake and phosphate but also for massive Aluminum, Titanium or stainless steel fasteners – for all ranges of coefficient of friction. The product offering is rounded up with tools like universal lubricating sprays (e.g. DF977S). Other examples of problem solving technology are dry-to-touch oil replacement for phosphated fasteners (e.g. DCP9300) or specialty lubricants for larger dimensions fasteners that need to be post rolled (e.g. DF910).

Together with COVENTYA’s global tech service forces and the quality programme COVENTEC, the firm makes sure that the quality of each and every fastener that is treated with COVENTYA and microGLEIT is performing as it should be. It’s the lubricant, application and equipment that matter equally. Besides tribology solutions for threaded connections, microGLEIT is offering a lot more like innovative environmentally sound white grease pastes.

The medium-sized company supplies products for timber construction, deck construction and concrete fixing throughout Europe to specialised dealers, who take over the distribution to specialists.

How did Eurotec get started? On 1 May 1999, Markus Rensburg and Gregor Mamys founded the company with nothing more than a small cellar with adjoining garage, whose 50 pallet bays served as a warehouse. Over those 20 years, Eurotec has established itself as a major player in the fastening technology segment. For two decades, Eurotec has been supplying its customers with innovative and high-quality products and always tries to think outside the box.
