Bossard Americas has opened the doors to its first-of-its-kind Bossard Design Centre (BDC) in Milpitas, California.
The 300m2 facility is designed to find and design the right solutions for customers and support them throughout the process - from design to final assembly testing. The BDC also includes a 140m2 seminar room for up to 85.
Customers can test a wide range of mounting solutions and get a detailed insight into installation methods. Optimal testing environments mean friction coefficients can be tested and studied using a state-of-the-art SCHATZ ANALYZE machine, simulating torque/voltage data. The BDC also has the equipment for vibration tests to determine how screw connections cope with different degrees.
