The Bossard Group expects sales and profit increase in first half of 2021

The Bossard Group has announced that it expects a considerable increase in sales and profit in the first half of 2021 following a notable profit in sales in the first quarter.

For the first half-year 2021, the Bossard Group expects sales to in-crease by more than 20 percent compared to the prior year period. This means that sales and profit will be above last year’s first half, pre-pandemic and also above the first half-year of 2019.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the outlook for the full financial year remains uncertain. The situation on the supply market is likely to remain tense in the second half of the year, so that further price increases and longer delivery times are to be expected.

The first results for the first half of 2021 will be released on July 14, 2021. The semi-annual report for 2021 will be published on August 24.
