Scotland-based Abacus Agents, specialist distributor to the glass and glazing and door and window sector, has significantly expanded its range of Rapierstar fastener options.
Abacus Agents operates out of branches in Dundee and Glasgow, largely serving customers across Scotland and the north of England, focused on products that cover all aspects of glass and glazing, as well as door and window manufacturing, installation and repair.
Abacus Agents’ range of Rapierstar fasteners for joiners, window and door manufacturers and installers, which already includes StarPVCU window screws, StarTurn woodscrews – including in stainless steel – and StarPin polymer headed pins and nails, has now boosted with StarFix plug-free frame fixings and additional specialist fixings such as baypole screws.

Earlier this year, Rapierstar invested in a new 2,500 sq ft Learning Development Centre to help boost technical skills for its customers and supply chain partners. At the top end of 2019, the firm upgraded to ISO 9001.
