Hilti rolls out store revamps

Tool, fixing and fastener brand Hilti is renovating and refreshing its stores, with new layouts and features to reflect Hilti's new brand style.

The firm is completely renovating the look and feel of the old stores with new furniture and lighting, grab-and-go product displays and a dedicated product demo area so customers can try before they buy. There's an improved layout - making it easier for customers to find the products they need. An 'experience zone' has been added to the mix, with chats and coffee on offer with Hilti Store Reps.

Digital has been incorporated with new screens and tablets have been located around the store so customers can access product info, videos and more while in the store. Hilti Store Reps will be equipped with a tablet allowing them to place orders without being tied to the counter.

The exteriors have been revamped too - with red walls (where possible) and clear signage so they'll be harder to miss.

The stores used to be referred to as Hilti Centres, a term the brand admits was vague ("we would forgive you for thinking it might be adistribution centre, pick up point or Hilti office") and has ditched in favour of the more straightforward name - Hilti Stores.

The latest store to be refreshed was Hilti Belfast, which had a ribbon cutting ceremony on 4 December. Hilti has 30 stores across the UK and Ireland.
