TR Fastenings returns to exhibit at Automechanika Birmingham

TR Fastenings will be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham from 4th-6th June 2019, as the exhibition for the automotive supply chain returns to the NEC for its fourth year.

TR, part of Trifast plc and global specialist in the design, engineering, manufacture and distribution of high quality industrial and Cat C fastenings, will be exhibiting at stand F92 having enjoyed successes at the three previous events.

TR views Automechanika as, "the place the be seen" and has labelled it as an important part of its annual calendar of events and promotions.

A key focus for the firm this year will be on components for electric vehicle (EV) charging units and batteries as the EV market gathers considerable pace. According to TR, the products required for these areas are already in its portfolio, enabling the firm to support and advise on applications.

Glenda Roberts, Trifast's Global Sales Director, said: "The growth of the EV market and the electric highways being created has led TR into new areas of development, in particular with battery production, the fixings that are required and the finishes.

"Our strength as a manufacturer and distributor is further enhanced by the design and technical support that we are providing to our customers as part of the FSP service. We have heavily invested in recruiting fastener engineers over the last few years and this is proving to be a much-needed support that we can offer to our customers, from the initial design right through to VA/VE initiatives on mature products."

TR's qualified engineers and product managers will be on hand at Automechanika to advise designers, production and purchasing teams on fastener application solutions and demonstrate their knowledge.

A member of the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT) and North East Automotive Association (NEAA), TR believes attending the event over the last three years has enabled it to further cement its position within the automotive industry.
