LBM Advantage, a lumber and building materials cooperative, announced its 2022 “Vendors of the Year”, with SIMPSON Strong-Tie picking up one of the awards.
Vendors in four main building product categories (Commodities, Specialties, Millwork and Kitchen & Bath) were evaluated on a variety of criteria, including sales growth, gross margin improvement, customer support, and product quality. The Specialties 2022 Vendor of The Year award went to SIMPSON Strong-Tie.
LBM Advantage executive vice president, Tom Molloy, said, “LBM is fortunate to have committed vendor partners that believe in our mission to assist independent lumberyards. We are proud to celebrate those partners who consistently exceed expectations despite economic challenges, and who have made significant efforts to serve our members.”
