The SFS Group has acquired Harald Zahn GmbH, a German supplier of fastening systems for flat roofs.
Through the acquisition, SFS is expanding its market access in the German and Austrian construction industries, as well as broadening its range of flat roof services. The deal also opens up international growth potential for Harald Zahn’s product solutions.
Following the acquisition, Harald Zahn will remain based in Wiesloch and will become part of the SFS Group’s Fastening Systems segment, which manufactures mechanical fastening systems for the construction industry.
Founded in 1981, Harald Zahn develops and manufactures high-quality, innovative fastening systems for flat roofs. In 2025, the company generated sales of around €8 million and employed 45 people.
Earlier this year, SFS Group reported modest sales growth for 2025, with the Fastening Systems segment’s sales declining by about 1%. In the 2025 financial year, SFS Group generated sales of CHF 3,056.6 million and organic growth of 2.9%. However, foreign currency effects of –2.9% continued to significantly reduce sales growth, resulting in year-on-year growth of only 0.6%.
