GWR Fasteners has added an additional CNC sliding head lathe.
Weighing more than three tonnes, the machine enables GWR Fasteners to handle more complex and technically demanding work while maintaining high standards. It also allows the company to offer faster turnaround times, improved consistency and greater flexibility across both small bespoke batches and large-scale production runs.
“It really helps us keep everything ticking along nicely. We can get through jobs more efficiently, take on a wider range of work and stay on top of demand. It also means we can turn things around quicker for customers, which is what it’s all about,” said Dan Farrar (pictured), Lead CNC Setter/Operator at GWR Fasteners.
Moving forward, the company said it remains committed to improving, growing and delivering the “reliable, responsive service its customers have come to expect”.
Recently, GWR Fasteners relaunched its newly upgraded trade counter in Oswestry, Shropshire. The trade counter offers an improved layout, better access to expert advice and increased stock availability, enabling trade professionals to receive dependable fastening solutions. Located at Units 6–7 on the Artillery Business Park in Oswestry, the trade counter is part of the company’s plan to demonstrate its commitment to providing fast, knowledgeable and reliable service to customers.
