Fastener Training Institute (FTI) will host Fastener Platings, Coatings and Corrosion, a full-day workshop during International Fastener Expo (IFE). The training is on Monday, September 15, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Carmen Vertullo, FTI instructor, and owner and founder of Carver Labs, will lead the workshop. Attendees who invest in this professional development will gain extensive knowledge about corrosion in fasteners.
The full-day training targets the critical need to choose the right materials and finishes to combat corrosion. There are several strategies to employ - and for suppliers, manufacturers or fastener users - it is essential to know all options. Students will learn about each strategy to be better informed when making decisions for corrosion prevention.
“The need for safety in our industry is essential. By taking advantage of training while at the expo, attendees will gain extensive knowledge to keep sharp in the workplace. We look forward to seeing many fastener professionals take advantage of this day session while at IFE,” shared Jo Morris, FTI’s managing director.
Fastener Platings, Coatings and Corrosion is technical, and standards based, but is suitable for all levels of experience in the fastener industry.
