Dugard to unveil Zopo V11B vertical machining centre in UK

Dugard will introduce Zopo’s V11B vertical machining centre at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026.

The company said the addition of the Zopo V11B, as part of its diverse portfolio of CNC machine tools, will provide UK manufacturers with a cost-effective solution for high-rigidity machining applications.

The V11B vertical machining centre has been designed to deliver high rigidity and accuracy for heavy-duty cutting applications. Its arc-shaped base, developed using finite element analysis and reinforced with internal ribs, provides enhanced structural stability compared with other machines in its class. A large-span base fitted with twin 45mm roller linear guideways offers high load-bearing capacity, enabling the machine to handle workpieces weighing up to 900kg while maintaining precision under demanding machining conditions.

The machine is equipped with a direct-coupled spindle system designed to improve machining efficiency and surface quality, while reducing vibration and extending tool life. The 11/15kW direct-drive spindle operates at speeds of up to 12,000rpm with a BT40 taper, and a 24-position tool magazine allows for rapid 2.5-second tool changes, helping to minimise downtime.

With axis travels of 1,100mm (X), 610mm (Y) and 630mm (Z), alongside a 610mm by 1,300mm worktable, the V11B offers a generous working envelope suitable for medium to large component production. Rapid traverse rates of up to 36m/min on the X and Y axes and 32m/min on the Z axis support fast positioning, while a maximum feed rate of 12m/min enables efficient material removal.

“With over 10,000 units sold worldwide, the V11B has a proven track record, and we’re confident it will resonate with UK manufacturers seeking productive, dependable vertical machining centres that deliver excellent value,” said Colin Thomson, Sales Director at Dugard.

Dugard has represented the brand in the UK since 2025 and will showcase it to UK manufacturers for the first time at a UK exhibition next month.

“We’re delighted to introduce the Zopo brand to UK manufacturers with its UK exhibition premiere at Southern Manufacturing. The addition of Zopo to Dugard’s portfolio further strengthens the company’s ability to provide comprehensive CNC solutions for manufacturers across all scales and budgets,” Thomson added.

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 will take place from 3 to 5 February at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, with more than 550 suppliers exhibiting at the event.
