Draper Tools has acquired two brands, including Defender Lighting, a brand in the global site lighting and power distribution industry, and Van Vault, a supplier of vehicle and on-site security storage solutions.
Both brands were part of Toolstream, which has recently entered administration.

The acquisition allows us to continue meeting demand and helps us further our goal of providing the most comprehensive range of best-in-class tools to our customers,” said Matt Sheen, CEO of Draper Tools. “Acquiring these two brands represents a key part of our continued investment in the future and in new markets.”
Draper Tools will provide more details on product availability in early 2026.
Sheen added: “We understand there may be questions from the market and from individuals about this announcement, and we want to offer reassurance that more information will follow in due course.”
