Stanley Black & Decker brand DEWALT has strengthened its power tools and hand tools categories with new carpentry solutions for residential applications, adding several products to its line-up.
The first product is the 20V MAX XR® 12-In. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (DCS785), which boasts DEWALT’s largest cut capacity among its 20V Max cordless mitre saw line up. This saw is DEWALT’s first 12-inch 20V Max mitre saw compatible with the entire range of 20V MAX and DEWALT FLEXVOLT® batteries.
Equipped with the Cut.Capture.Charge regenerative braking technology and a bevel gear transmission, this saw delivers exceptional runtime and efficiency—capable of making up to 371 cuts in 3¼-inch MDF base moulding and up to 153 cuts in pressure-treated 4x4 timber.
The saw maximises work efficiency by capturing up to 97% of dust during operation, significantly reducing clean up. It also features Wireless Tool Control, allowing users to activate a connected vacuum with a simple trigger pull.
Meanwhile, the 20V MAX XR® 10-In. Double Bevel Fixed Miter Saw (DCS714) is DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX compact mitre saw and first 10-inch mitre saw compatible with the entire range of 20V MAX and DEWALT FLEXVOLT® batteries.
This saw, available in May, also features the Cut.Capture.Charge regenerative braking technology. It can deliver up to 434 cuts in 3 ¼-In. MDF base molding and capture up to 97% of dust during use.
Further expanding the DEWALT XR® system, the 20V MAX XR® Brushless Cordless 1/2-In. Drill/Driver (DCD801) and 20V MAX XR® Brushless Cordless 1/2-In. Hammer Drill (DCD806) represent DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX 2-speed drill/driver and hammer drill to date.
Both products, available in May, are equipped with the DEWALT anti-rotation system, which senses the rotational motion of the tool and shuts it down if excessive motion is detected.
Lastly, DEWALT will also launch several new lasers and chalk reels, including the DEWALT 200-feet Laser Distance Measurers, which calculate complex measurements with an accuracy of ±1/16-inches at 32 feet and a range of 200 feet.
The DEWALT Chalk Reels can deliver precise layout lines, as they are designed to suit a variety of job site needs. They will be available starting this May.
