Finnish pipe cutting tools manufacturer Exact Tools has joined the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), becoming the 50th partner of the alliance.
Founded in 1993, Exact Tools develops and produces portable, easy-to-use tools for cutting pipes with high precision and safety. Its products are suitable for processing a wide variety of materials, including steel and stainless steel, as well as cast iron and plastic.
The company’s business spans Europe and the US. In Europe, it collaborates with regional partners, while it maintains its own subsidiary in the US.
“The quality of CAS batteries, their wide availability and their reputation among professional users were the reasons for us joining. At some construction sites, corded tools are not permitted or are undesirable. With CAS, we offer our customers the cordless freedom they need,” said Sami Simula, CEO of Exact Tools.
The company’s main customers are specialists in the plumbing, heating and air conditioning (PHVAC) sector, as well as pipeline construction and infrastructure.
“With Exact Tools as our 50th partner, we are reaching a milestone we are proud of and will celebrate properly in 2026. In 2018, we started with just a handful of brands. Today, we have 50 brands that rely on the quality, performance, availability and continuous development of our batteries,” said Thomas Zeller, head of the CAS partner programme at Metabo.
