The Anochrome Group’s Anotec has achieved JOSCAR accreditation, demonstrating its compliance with aerospace and defence standards.
JOSCAR is the supplier due diligence system used across the UK aerospace, defence and security sectors. It was established by ADS, the trade association representing these sectors, and is administered by Hellios Information Ltd.
The system standardises how major buying organisations request and assess supplier assurance information, offering a simple, cost-effective alternative to multiple individual checks. By creating a single shared source of validated supplier data for participating ADS Group members, it removes the need for repeated information requests. Once a supplier completes the JOSCAR process, its information becomes automatically available to all ADS major buying organisations.
For suppliers, JOSCAR reduces the administrative burden of completing multiple questionnaires for different buyers.
“I am delighted that Anotec has received JOSCAR accreditation as we continue to grow our influence in this key area. We are already a trusted partner to the defence sector, supporting OEMs, Tier suppliers and engineering teams with coating and fastening solutions that deliver long-term durability, reduced maintenance and guaranteed performance even in the harshest conditions,” said Steve Norman, Group Commercial & Divisional Director at the Anochrome Group.
