HB42 owner Hilton Banks appoints next generation as Co-MDs

Hilton Banks, the family company behind the HB42 brand of sealants and adhesives, has announced the appointment of Scarlet McAleese-Banks and Charlie Banks as Co-Managing Directors.

Charlie and Scarlet jointly take over as Managing Directors from their father, Robert Banks, and are the latest generation of Banks’ to become directors of the company, the history of which stretches all the way back to 1850 when it was established by Benjamin Banks.

Back then, the company delivered hearthstone and building products in the London area with his stable of 40 horses and carriages. Today, Hilton Banks distributes a huge range of products to a network of independent merchants and hardware stores across the UK.

“We are excited and delighted to be taking over as joint Managing Directors of the company, which has had a good year despite the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Scarlet. “Both myself and Charlie have some exciting ideas for the future direction of the business but rest assured, our merchant customers can continue to rely on the products and services that has made Hilton Banks so successful for so long.”
