Fabory has acquired Metrik Fasteners B.V. and Stern Instruments B.V. (Metrik).
The company stated that the acquisition will strengthen its support for customers across the Benelux petrochemical and energy markets, reinforcing its position as a leading supplier of high-quality, critical fastening solutions.
As part of the agreement, Stern Instruments will also join Fabory. Stern is a specialist supplier of control valve spare parts for energy and process installations, further strengthening Fabory’s support in maintenance and shutdown-related activities.
The company added that the combined capabilities of Fabory and Metrik will provide customers with greater technical depth in performance-critical applications. While Fabory and its subsidiary Stokvis specialise in large-scale turnarounds and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supply, Metrik brings additional expertise in complex fastening applications and specialist energy projects.
“We are proud to welcome Metrik to Fabory. Their expertise in the energy and petrochemical markets aligns closely with our strategy to grow further in critical segments. Together, we bring enhanced technical knowledge, specialist supply capabilities and a shared commitment to reliability and long-term partnership,” said Martin Verdegaal, CEO of Fabory.
Following the acquisition, Metrik’s owner Rik Visser and partner Bart-Jan van der Jagt will continue to lead Metrik’s operations, ensuring continuity for customers and safeguarding the responsiveness, technical expertise and service standards they rely on.
