DIY and crafts products provider sukigroup has expanded its management team with the appointment of a managing director and two C-suite executives.
The company’s Chief Financial Officer, Kirsten Dienhart, has been appointed Managing Director, while Michael Lanz and Serge Thömmes will take on the roles of Chief Category Officer and Chief Commercial Officer respectively. Lanz and Thömmes will also coordinate and oversee sales and product range activities across the group’s other trading companies, Vynex and FTV Asia. In addition, Lanz will remain responsible for the group’s Asian operations in his role as Director of FTV Asia.

The company added that Dienhart, Lanz and Thömmes are "deeply rooted in the industry", having each worked at sukigroup for more than two decades.
Separately, sukigroup appointed Thierry Lepert as Managing Director of its French subsidiary, Vynex SAS, in April last year.
Sukigroup currently operates five business units, employs almost 1,000 people and offers a product portfolio of around 60,000 items.
