Bufab earns EcoVadis Platinum Rating

Bufab has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Rating, placing it among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.

The company said the achievement underscores its systematic approach to integrating sustainability across its operations and value chain — from responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence to climate action and customer solutions.

This recognition further strengthens Bufab’s position as a trusted partner in delivering sustainable solutions and meeting the growing expectations of customers, investors and regulators alike.

“This Platinum Rating is a strong acknowledgement of Bufab’s ongoing efforts in sustainability,” said Erik Lundén, CEO of Bufab. “It reflects our ambition to be the sustainability leader within the C-parts industry and to continue creating sustainable, long-term value for our customers.”

EcoVadis is an independent provider of business sustainability ratings, assessing companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

In a separate development, Bufab recently signed a framework agreement with international defence, aerospace and security company Babcock International Group for the supply of fasteners and associated C-parts.

Earlier, the company announced the appointment of Marcus Söderberg as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will assume the position in March 2026.
