Optimas has opened a new entity in Singapore, aiming to enhance supply chain efficiency and help mitigate geopolitical risks within the region.
The expansion offers increased support for suppliers and “further enables Optimas to continue delivering efficiency, service and cost advantages that customers expect”.
“This is an exciting step forward to speed up our growth in Southeast Asia. We continue to listen to the ‘voice of our customers’ and provide them with services and products local to them. I’m looking forward to working with old and new customers through Optimas Singapore and thank them for their strong support,” said Graeme Bassett, Vice President of APAC at Optimas.
Mike Tuffy, Optimas’ International CEO, added: “I’m pleased we have completed this strategic move to further enhance our presence and support in the APAC region. As a business, we blend global supply with local support, so this expansion in Singapore brings significant benefits to our customers in the region and supports our ongoing growth as a business.”
Prior to this, Optimas announce that it will again exhibit at Advanced Engineering in October 2025 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. At the show, Optimas will showcase products and services that support OEMs in boosting efficiency and reducing costs related to fastener and C-class component usage.
